BP hands Morgan Stanley its Sinopec mandate

Morgan Stanley is sole bookrunner on a sale of BP's stake in China Petroleum and Chemical (Sinopec), the Chinese oil company, which could be valued at HK$5.7bn ($734m).

BP is selling its entire 2.1% stake - around 1.8 billion shares - in Sinopec. Last month it sold a 2% stake in Petrochina, another Chinese oil group.
