Stephan Breban, a senior investment consultant and partner, is leaving Watson Wyatt, the actuarial and investment consultancy, to found his own private equity consulting firm.

Breban said the split was amicable and that City Capital Partners, his new firm, would provide consultancy for investors looking to put money into private equity fund of funds businesses and the larger end of the buy-out fund market.
