Bregal Freshstream, the UK and Benelux-focused private equity firm, has struck its first deal since closing in maiden fund in mid-September – agreeing to buy a majority stake in Lunch Garden, a Belgian self-service restaurant chain.

The firm is acquiring Lunch Garden from a consortium of investors led by H2 Equity Partners, an Amsterdam-based private equity firm.
