A leading real estate analyst expects the Brexit negotiations to take a turn for the worse in the coming months, lessening the likelihood of any further rise in UK property dealmaking this year.
Speaking on a panel at the MIPIM property conference in Cannes, Miles Gibson, head of UK research at CBRE, said the UK’s real estate market had shown resilience since the country voted to leave the European Union in June 2016, but warned of difficulties ahead.
