Brexit trade deal odds lengthen to 70% with the clock ticking on negotiations

The odds on the EU and UK striking a trade deal before the end of the year have lengthened to 70% with time running out in the negotiations between the two sides.

Bookies saw the odds drop to 70% on 18 December from the 83% chance of a deal tracked on 17 December, according to betting exchange Smarkets.
