The shadow cast by Brexit has allowed New York to overtake London as the world’s global financial hub, with little chance of the UK’s capital reclaiming the top spot, an annual survey of financial executives revealed.
The Global Regulatory Outlook by Duff & Phelps, published on May 28, found that just over half of the 183 executives surveyed now see New York as the world’s top financial centre, up 10% from the previous year.
