Senior UK politicians have penned letters to the management team at Bridgepoint-backed food delivery service Deliveroo, calling on the company to increase pay and improve working conditions for staff.

The move follows action instigated by trade union the Independent Workers’ Union of Great Britain (IWGB) on behalf of Brighton-based Deliveroo riders earlier this month.
