Bridgepoint Capital, the UK private equity house, has sold its majority stake in Capella Group, the Swedish data services firm, to Finland Post, which is looking to extend its reach to new businesses and regions.
Although the deal value was undisclosed, a spokesman for Bridgepoint Capital, said that they had made a "very healthy" return. Bridgepoint originally backed the SEK190m (€21m) management buy-out of Capella in October 1998.
