Bridgepoint Capital, the pan-European buy-out firm, has sold its portfolio company, UK snacks company Golden Wonder, to a trade buyer, marking the firm's seventh exit of the year so far.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, but a source close to the deal said Bridgepoint had made a healthy return on its investment.
