Bridgepoint, a UK-based mid-market private equity firm, has appointed Mikael Lövgren chairman of its Nordic business. Lövgren was senior vice president and director based in Stockholm for the Boston Consulting Group for which he worked for 20 years.

Lövgren has held a number of positions with Boston, including the roles of managing director of its Nordic business and head of its Nordic health care practice Group.
