Office redesigns, split teams and face masks: How Britain will get back to work after coronavirus

Businesses will have to wait until later this week for detailed instructions on workplace safety

The UK government hinted at redesigned office spaces in its much-anticipated strategy to ease the country out of lockdown, alongside suggestions for companies to put workforces on rota — but held off from providing full detail on guidance for the measures.

The changes were discussed in the government’s 60-page document, “Our Plan to Rebuild: the UK Government’s Covid-19 recovery strategy”, released on 11 May, a day after a televised message from Prime Minister Boris Johnson on plans to reopen the economy.
