Gillian Brown, the head of private equity at British Airways Pension Investment Management, is set to step down from her role in the next few months, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Brown, a recipient of a lifetime achievement award at last month's European Venture Capital and Private Equity Association symposium in Istanbul, is set to leave her role at the pension fund in the coming months to focus on advisory work and other ventures, one person said.
