BrokerTec Global, the electronic interdealer broker for fixed income securities and the parent company of BrokerTec Europe, has appointed Garry Jones as chief executive and president of BrokerTec Europe.

Jones took over as interim chief executive following the departure of Lee Olesky, former president and chief executive, who left BrokerTec Europe to join competitor Tradeweb. Jones will now assume the role permanently.
