BrokerTec Global, the electronic inter-dealer broker for fixed income transactions, has recorded a profit for the three-month period to June 30, 2002, the third consecutive quarter it has returned a profit.

The privately-owned broker experienced growth across a range of US and European cash and repo fixed income products as well as reaching one million contracts on its BrokerTec Futures Exchange.
