Brooks Macdonald has hired BlackRock executive Karen Charlery to be its next chief operating officer, as it continues overhauling its senior leaders.

Charlery will take up her appointment at the London-based wealth manager on 23 June, replacing chief technology officer Gavin Neilson, who held the role on an interim basis.
