Brown Brothers Harriman, the Boston-based custodian bank, has hired Nick Bennenbroek, former senior US economist at Deutsche Bank in New York, as assistant vice president of its foreign exchange division.

The appointment marks the continuing expansion of BBH's foreign exchange division, which is aiming to provide clients with customised market information and interpretation and analysis of foreign exchange activity.
