Billing itself as Latin America’s leading investment bank, BTG Pactual has not been afraid to take on the big global banks in its domestic markets and is defiantly growing its own global reach.

BTG Pactual began life five years ago this week as the Banking and Trading Group, set up by former UBS banker Andre Esteves in October 2008 with former Brazilian central bank governor Persio Arida.
