Robin Budenberg, the former chief executive of UK Financial Investments, and Nick Reid, a former co-head of European investment banking at UBS, are to join the independent advisory house Centerview Partners.

Budenberg, a former 25-year veteran at UBS who later headed the body responsible for managing the UK's stakes in the banking sector, is to join as chairman in London.
