Buyout firms seek $7bn Aramark debt financing

The five private equity firms backing the management buyout of US professional services firm Aramark are planning to raise just over $7bn of debt to finance the acquisition and pay off existing debt.

A buyout consortium consisting of GS Capital Partners, CCMP Capital Advisors, JP Morgan Partners, Thomas H. Lee Partners and Warburg Pincus are backing Aramark chief executive Joseph Neubauer in a $6.3bn deal to take the company private.
