Europe’s largest private equity firms are pressing ahead with a campaign to boost their reputations after agreeing to fund the bulk of the project out of their own pockets.
The 25 firms on the European Private Equity Roundtable, a council that sits within trade body the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, are set to agree to a three-year funding package that will act as a war chest to fund the campaign and will be supplemented by local firms depending on the issue and region concerned.
