Buyside demands greater dark pool transparency

Heads of trading at US asset managers and hedge funds are unhappy with the levels of transparency provided by broker-run dark pools, and are demanding operators step up their efforts to be more open about how they run the private trading venues.

Nearly three-quarters of respondents to a survey by research house Tabb Group said they were "dissatisfied with transparency levels in broker dark pools".
