The architect of the BVCA's perceived "failed" communications strategy has left weeks after the chief executive departed following questioning by the UK parliament's Treasury Select Committee inquiry into private equity.

Mark Fox, director of communications and public affairs of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, for the past six years has jumped ship to join the Business Services Association, which represents 16 companies offering outsourcing services.
