Calpers adds $500m to alternatives

The California Public Employees' Retirement System, the biggest US pension fund, has committed $500m (€388m) to an investment vehicle run by alternative asset manager Oak Hill Investment Management.

The vehicle, Sacramento Private Equity Partners, will be structured as a fund of funds, investing in venture capital and lower mid-market funds.
