Calyon, the investment banking arm of French banking group Crédit Agricole, has recruited a new head of French corporate origination as part of an aggressive hiring spree.
Julien Lefournier joins Calyon as a managing director in the capital markets division, responsible for French corporate debt bonds. Based in Paris, he will report to Jean-Marc Blankert, Calyon's global head of origination. He replaces Bruno Merlin in the role.
