Calyon has hired ex-JP Morgan banker Josep Santacana to its European capital markets team. It brings the number of senior hires at the French investment bank to six since the end of the summer.

Santacana joined Calyon last week as head of market-making for European liquid bonds, with responsibility for European government, agency and covered bonds. He previously spent two years in the government bond trading team at JP Morgan before leaving in July.
