Calyon has hired Kenton Jernigan, a former banker at French rival SG Corporate and Investment Banking, to head European high yield sales.

Nine months ago Calyon recruited Tim Hall, former head of non-investment grade debt at ING, to spearhead its effort to move into high yield and emerging market debt for the first time.
