Calyon called in for €15bn Suez overhaul

Calyon, Crédit Agricole's investment banking arm, has won the sole mandate to advise Suez, the French power group, on its €15bn ($19.7bn) reshaping of its balance sheet.

Suez said yesterday it will sell one subsidiary, Suez-Tractebel, to another, Electrabel, to raise cash and allow it to prepare for organic growth.
