Camra Data Services, the asset manager information provider which has moved its database online, has drafted in Steve Butler as its new chief executive.

Butler, who has worked in financial services for 15 years, has been an independent consultant since leaving CAPS, the pension fund performance measurers, in December 2002. At Russell Mellon Caps, as it is now called, Butler headed European business development.
