Lazard is having an opportune reset moment.

The storied financial firm, which specialises in dispensing advice (ie for mergers and acquisitions) and asset management, is in the midst of a C-suite transition, replacing longstanding CEO Ken Jacobs with its current head of advisory (and Davos regular), Peter Orszag, former director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Barack Obama.
