Canadian pension schemes continued their investments in UK assets on Friday with the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan’s $73.1m deal to acquire Goals Soccer Centres.

Teachers' said Goals' board had agreed to recommend the deal to shareholders. If approved, the pension fund's private equity investment division, Teachers' Private Capital, will acquire Goals' 43 outdoor five-a-side football facilities.
