Candover Investments, a UK-listed private equity investment manager, generated a record £162.4m (€212.3m) from sales and refinancings last year - almost double the amount it invested.

The investment trust, which commits capital to buyout funds run by its management company Candover Partners as well as investing in deals directly, invested £90.5m over the course of last year.
