Capital Dynamics has started to rebuild its Brazil team after its attempts to launch a business in the country were thwarted last year following the departures of two executives.

The Swiss private equity fund of funds group has appointed Marcelo Moraes as managing director and head of Brazil based in São Paulo, according to a statement.
