One of Europe’s biggest private equity managers has launched its first dedicated clean energy investment team as research shows alternative asset managers are expected to be the most active investors in the sector in the next 18 months.

Capital Dynamics, which manages or has advised on more than $21bn (€17bn) in private equity and real estate funds including direct investment vehicles and funds of funds, has formed a team to target direct clean energy and infrastructure investments, according to a statement.
