European banks have little flexibility, says Deutsche Bank

European banks’ capital levels are limiting their ability to invest - and the continent’s firms would struggle if capital requirements were raised, according to a top Deutsche Bank analyst.

Jan Schildbach, head of Deutsche Bank’s banking, financial markets and regulation team, published a note on March 2 titled European banks in 2016: A year to forget.
