CapMan, the Nordic private equity house, is building up its unit dedicated to investments in life science by taking on Björn Nordenvall, as the first in a series of hires.

Nordenvall has held several management positions in the life science sector in the last 20 years, including managing director of Swedish companies Carnegie Medicin and, most recently, Sophiahemmet. He was also managing director of Oxigene, a US-listed biotech firm.
