Global private equity firm Carlyle Group has closed a €350m, Europe-focused collateralised loan obligation fund, with analysts talking of a possible long-term recovery in this key market for private equity financing.

The global private equity firm said in a statement that it has raised €350m for investment in new issue and secondary market European senior secured bank loans. Barclays arranged the transaction.
