The Carlyle Group, the global private equity firm, is boosting its UK operations with two new appointments to its leveraged buy-out team.

Robert Easton is joining as a director and Haroun Van Hovell Tot Westerflier as an associate. Both will be based in London and will be responsible for sourcing and executing corporate transactions in the UK and selected European markets.
