Carlyle makes three times its money from Inmedia

The Carlyle Group, the US private equity firm, has tripled its money in just three months with the £70m (€102m) sale of satellite support firm Inmedia Communications to Arqiva, a broadcast services company.

Sources close to the deal said the scale of the return from one of the fund's larger investments was a positive development. He said the remaining 11 portfolio firms were also in good shape.
