Carlyle's Youngkin now in London

The Carlyle Group's London office continues to grow with the addition of Glenn Youngkin as managing director responsible for the Carlyle Group Europe Partners 1 Fund's investment activities.

He joins Christopher Finn, who opened the London office in 1998. Together they aim to target investment opportunities in the UK, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal and Benelux. Youngkin was formerly a managing director and partner in Carlyle's Washington office where he led, or co-led, 11 investments, including the acquisition of several Dr Pepper/ 7Up bottling plants in partnership with Cadbury Schweppes.
