Carnegie names new chief

Carnegie, the Nordic investment bank which advised on Europe's largest leveraged buy-out last year, has named Stig Vilhelmson, head of its securities unit, as chief executive. He replaces Karin Forseke, who resigned this month.

Vilhelmson has been head of Carnegie's securities business, its largest, since 1995 and is one of the bank's eight executive officers.
