On a scale of one to 10, the financial services sector in its present state scores a modest five, maybe six. This is according to a panel of senior figures, including the new chief executive of Royal Bank of Scotland, who delivered a cautious assessment of their industry at a London Business School forum this week.
Industry executives including Stephen Hester, the chief of RBS, and Deutsche Bank markets head Anshu Jain, were among the panelists speaking at the London Business School's 'Global Leadership Forum' yesterday.
