Cazenove Fund Management, the £13bn-plus investment house, has appointed Dr. Ian Harnett as strategist.

Harnett is a former managing director of pan-European strategy at Bankers Trust. He previously spent seven years with Société Générale where he was group chief economist and an executive director.
