Securities firm Cazenove is making a foray into the private equity market with the formation of a new business division - Cazenove Private Equity.

This new division is already in the process of raising its first fund, the Cazenove New Europe Access Fund, which will focus on investing in unquoted high growth companies in the UK and continental Europe.
