CBOE brings In tech help after more glitches

The options exchange suffered its second trading delay in a week

The Chicago Board Options Exchange will hire an independent consultant to review the exchange's technology practices after the second trading delay in a week because of systems problems at the biggest US stock options market.

CBOE Holdings executives attributed a technology problem yesterday morning to a "product maintenance function" that had been updated in preparation for longer trading hours at the exchange, according to a statement issued to traders.
