CBOT postpones data fee introduction

The Chicago Board of Trade has postponed the introduction of a controversial fee for pricing data on its products.

In a letter to customers the exchange said that it would waiver the proposed fee through to June 30, 2007, according to the Chicago Tribune. The move to postpone the fee comes after customers revolted against the proposed levy.
