CBOT snares Bank One's Vitale as new chief

The Chicago Board of Trade, the world's largest futures and options exchange, has appointed David Vitale as president and chief executive officer.

Vitale, a long-time Chicago bank executive with a great deal of experience in the capital markets, moves from Bank One Corporation. He was the bank's vice-chairman and director, responsible for its commercial banking business that operates throughout the US and in some international markets.
