CBOT vote paves way for floor closure

Members of the Chicago Board of Trade, the second-largest US futures exchange, have approved a move to increase electronic trading of agricultural products. The move could eventually pave the way for the closure of the exchange's open outcry floors.

Over 80% of CBOT members cast votes in support of the shift.
