Property consultant CB Richard Ellis has hired a property derivatives specialist from Goldman Sachs in its latest push into financial advisory work, as the direct real estate market continues to suffer from negative returns.

CBRE Real Estate Finance, the investment banking division of global property agent CB Richard Ellis, has hired Guy Powdrill as a senior director of real estate finance. His prime responsibility will be to focus on corporate finance.
