CDC Ixis and IMI prepare Italian province for bond debut

CDC Ixis and Banca IMI have arranged a €500m ($495.5m) Euro medium term note programme for the Autonomous Province of Trento, which is set to be the latest Italian province to debut in the international bond markets.

In preparation for its inaugural bond offering, Trento also received first-time credit ratings of Aa1 and AA+ from Moody's Investors Service and Fitch Ratings on Tuesday. CDC Ixis and Banca IMI also acted as advisors in the ratings process and are expected to play a senior role in the province's bond offering.
