Celebrating the good times

It's seven years next month since Dillon Read was sold to Warburg.

In its time the US investment bank was a class act and its London offices were at some pukka addresses: Hill Street and Devonshire House in Mayfair in the 1980s and, until 1997, St James's Square. And then there were a wide range of characters and nationalities and an extraordinary sense of team spirit. So, to remember the good old days, Catherine Needham, Helen Jones and Sebastian Scotney are organising a party. All sorts of characters expect to be there, including Lorenzo Weisman, who is now based in New York, Adrian O'Carroll from Dublin, and Tarik Wildman. Asset managers Robert Rawe and James Burns are proving harder to track down. The date is May 13 and the venue St Barnabas in Soho Square.
